Associate Professor Tod Jones is a geographer with expertise in tourism, landscape and heritage research in Australia and Indonesia. He has undertaken research projects on tourism since 2006 on regional planning, wildlife tourism, sustainability transitions and World Heritage nomination processes with a focus on the Ningaloo Coast in northwest Western Australia. He is project lead of the AHURI Safe and secure accommodation solutions for workers in regional industries project that will be published as an AHURI report in 2025. He is also Associate Head of the School of Design and Built Environment at Curtin University.
