Simone Clinch-Moore is a Badimia Yamatji woman with Noongar connections to the Yuad and Whadjuk peoples.
Simone is an experienced leader in Aboriginal community services, known for her deep commitment to culturally secure, healing-focused, and community-led approaches to wellbeing. As General Manager – Programs at Wungening Aboriginal Corporation, Simone oversees a broad portfolio of healing and support services including Boorloo Bidee Mia, ReSet, and Ngalla Wirrin Wungening, as well as a range of housing, justice, and family support initiatives.
Guided by the Ngalla Wirrin Wungening Model of Care, Simone’s leadership centres on creating safe spaces for healing, empowerment, and self-determination. She works closely with Aboriginal communities, government partners, and sector stakeholders to design and deliver programs that respond to complex social and systemic challenges, while upholding the strength, knowledge, and cultural identity of Aboriginal people and families.
With extensive experience across justice, housing, alcohol and other drug (AOD) services, and family wellbeing, Simone brings strong operational management, strategic planning, and workforce development skills. She is recognised for her collaborative approach, her deep respect for Aboriginal ways of knowing, being and doing, and her ability to translate vision into practice through culturally grounded service delivery.
