Shaz Mccullough is a proud Wiradjuri woman and descendant of the Bundjalung Nation, through her grandmother’s lineage, originally from Tottenham in Central Western NSW. 
With over 22 years in the NSW Public Service, she has worked across Health, Ageing, Disability, and Community Service sectors. Shaz holds qualifications in Health Service Management, Indigenous Primary Health Care, and Management, and is a passionate advocate for Aboriginal health and “Closing the Gap” initiatives. She draws strength from her grandmother’s story as a member of the Stolen Generation and is committed to creating meaningful change for First Nations peoples
