Speaker
Rachelle Martin, a senior lecturer at the University of Otago New Zealand, undertakes disability and rehabilitation research and teaches and supervises people studying rehabilitation at a post-graduate level. With over 20 years of clinical experience working as a neurorehabilitation physiotherapist, Rachelle is passionate about ensuring people who experience disability or live with the enduring consequences of health conditions can lead the lives they aspire to. She collaborates with others within participatory research and co-design projects, listening with curiosity to the ways that people want to engage with health services, policies and programmes, and meaningfully participate in activities and life roles that matter most to them.
