Rachel Ong ViforJ is currently John Curtin Distinguished Professor of Economics at Curtin University. Her research interests cover housing affordability dynamics, intergenerational housing concerns, the links between housing and wellbeing, and the impacts of housing on the economy. She has long-standing expertise in housing policy evaluations. Rachel is currently a member of the National Housing Supply and Affordability Council and the CEDA Council on Economic Policy. She is Vice-Chair of the Asia-Pacific Network for Housing Research (APNHR), where she also leads the APNHR Working Group on Intergenerational Housing Issues.
