Kylie has over 20 years’ experience leading complex land use and infrastructure projects and multi-disciplinary teams across State and local government and in statutory authorities. Having worked in Queensland's planning sector for over 30 years', Kylie has extensive experience shaping the plans and policies that balance government, developer, and community needs.

At Economic Development Queensland, Kylie leads the team responsible for the declaration of Priority Development Areas (PDAs) and preparing the strategic plans to support the government's development goals for these areas.

Kylie is currently overseeing the planning for 20 PDAs across the State, covering 22,000 hectares of land and providing for new cities for up to 120,000 residents, urban renewal, airports, and hospitals. Collectively, these PDAs are intended to deliver more than 230,000 dwellings, employment opportunities, community facilities, parks, conservation areas, and schools.
