Jacob has spent the past 10 years working for Homes Victoria and precursor agencies, focused on improving the performance of new and existing social housing stock to deliver positive social and environmental outcomes.

Jacob’s team advises on sustainability specification for the Big Housing Build, manages the Homes Victoria actions against the Health and Human Service Adaptation Action Plan, designed and implemented its innovative Local Energy Networks Program, and provides policy and direction for the Energy Efficiency in Social Housing Program. Jacob’s previous roles were in corporate sustainability consultancy in Australia and the UK, and environment policy in South Australian government.
