Glenda Abraham spent most of her career in banking and finance, working with boards, government, and the Australian financial regulators. Holding positions as CEO and COO, she has overseen $14B trustee functions and annual turnovers in excess $500M. Glenda has always been a strong advocate for gender equality and cultural integration. Over the last few years, she has had the opportunity to live her passion, working with a variety of aboriginal corporations to support governance, build economic resilience and supporting their advocation. A key influencer in the recognition and establishment of a vulnerable member Bill for Aboriginal retirement benefits, to securing millions in “seed” funding enabling aboriginal corporations time to establish a sustainable business model. 

Glenda is the Chief Executive Officer of Laynhapuy Homelands Aboriginal Corporation and continues to provide aboriginal board consultancy services.

Glenda holds a Master of Business Administration with a major in Commercial Law. Is a graduate of INSEAD, Deakin University, Australian Institute of Company Directors.
