A building professional with a passion for improving our built environment, Alexandra’s career spans civil construction, residential building, academia and, most recently, state government.

Alexandra has completed a PhD in sustainable building where she explored the development of lower embodied emission building materials supported by life cycle assessment. Post-PhD, she has committed to improving the sustainability and climate performance of state government buildings.

Recently joining the newly formed Department of Housing and Works, Alexandra’s current focus is on reducing emissions and improving the climate resilience of social housing.
