Adam Haddow is the National President of the Australian Institute of Architects and a passionate advocate for the role of architecture in shaping stronger, healthier, and more connected communities. Previously serving as NSW Chapter President, Adam is a champion of design excellence across Australia. With more than 30 years’ experience spanning residential, commercial, and urban design, his work has been recognised with some of the profession’s highest honours, including the Robin Boyd Award for Residential Architecture, the Walter Burley Griffin Award for Urban Design, and the Harry Seidler Award for Commercial Architecture. A thought leader in mixed-use and community-focused design, Adam believes great architecture provides an armature for civic life, delivering not only economic value but also improved wellbeing outcomes.
