Michael is one of Australia’s leading advisers in the financing and structuring of social and affordable housing. He is the founder and Executive Director of Paxon Group, an international financial and commercial advisory firm.

Michael has led transactions involving innovative funding models at both the Federal and State levels. He played a pivotal role in the establishment of Housing Australia and the rollout of the Housing Australia Future Fund. Additionally, he designed the Shared Equity and Low Deposit Lending (Keystart) models, which are now used by government agencies across Australia.

Over the past five years, he has advised on more than $15 billion of new projects, including the development of over 50 outcomes-based models across the housing continuum.

Michael is a trusted adviser to major players in the sector including CHPs, government, private sector, institutional investors, financiers and developers.
